Cam and Skyler were meant to be. Cam just had to realize it. But this is not just a romance. There is adventure. Family and friends. Beautiful nature. From page one the characters grabbed my heart and I held on tightly. Cam and Skyler just have the most beautiful connection and to feel it grow throughout the book was priceless. I loved Skyler and the gentle way she brings together so much love-life giving comfort. Their experience was an adventure that brings friendship to a level of understanding their true connection. Micah, Lily, Maggie and Aunt Abby bring so much to the depth of this family. The dialogue is funny, so real and oh so heartfelt. We all need a Nana Winnie in our life and she is the steadfast love for this group of people who are home for each other. In case I have not been CLEAR I LOVE THIS STORY. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from The old one! -- Action, Adventure, Amazing love story!!! : This author has done it again! Just her second book and she is a shining new star. This one has it all and I loved every page. Cam doesn't do physical touch where there is no attraction. Skyler has been attracted to (or rather in love with) Cam for years. When they are stranded on a deserted island in Alaska, well---of course that is the story. What a story it was. Everything is described so vividly. The landscape, the attraction to Cam by Skyler, Cam trying to figure out the whole thing. There is just enough angst and drama to keep the reader riveted. The love story is super sweet as well. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Ashlee -- Another great one! : This book was so good. Writing, plot, character development were all so well done. I started it last night and should have known better, was up till 2 am and then woke up before my alarm even went off anxious to finish. Cam and Skyler’s adventure was so well described I felt like I could have been there. All of this was even before Goose the dog stole my heart. I loved that it was set in Sitka as well. I was one of the dreaded cruise ship tourists clogging up the two stop lights in town but I remember loving this area and wishing I could have spent more than an afternoon there. Thank you Violet Morley for granting me that wish, now I just need to get back. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2021 )

It has adventure, an adorable dog who is like a 3rd MC, some hilarious moments with family, some heart stopping danger, and is a beautiful love story! It has great timing and a very interesting plot. Not that it surprised me after Sprinkled in the Stars was just amazing. I was looking forward to read it again after the release and also to discuss it with a friend for whom Sprinkled in the Stars was one of her favourite books. Because my friend died about 3 weeks ago, I can’t discuss it with her. But it means I read the story for her and know that she would have loved it. ( Reviewed in Germany on October 31, 2021 )
